Journals
I was doing some fall-cleaning yesterday and decided to re-do my library. I found a huge cache of old journals. Each and everyone of them had some writing in them, but not one of them was filled. I have no idea why I have like 15 different books, all partially filled.
I haven’t journaled in a few years (blogging is the only thing that comes close), and I’ll hang on to these journals to enjoy later… but sheesh! All these books, only partially filled? What a waste.
I know, I hate that! But see, what had happened was, you start writing in one and then you taper off and stop. 6 months, a year, or two years down the line, you start journaling again but it’s too long to pick up where you left off in the last journal and you’re wanting to start fresh anyway, so you just start a new one. Then it happens again. It’s a vicious cycle, I tell you.
That’s exactly what happened!! Its like you were there!
